Shirley's Guest House - Caye Caulker Belize
8 Shirley's Guest House - Caye Caulker Belize http://www.belizenet.com/shirley.html Shirley's Guesthouse, Caye Caulker, Belize, is a quiet location for those who do not want to noise of village life, but are still within walking distance of all restaurants and shops.

Once a pirate lair, Caye Caulker is now a prosperous community of fishermen. Located just a few minutes south of San Pedro and twenty miles from Belize City. Caye Caulker is a square of sandy lanes under the palms, facing the gentle sea to both east and west. The first permanent residents were refugees from Mexico, fleeing the Caste War. Today's slow paced lifestyle resembles San Pedro a decade ago. Because of its relaxed lifestyle, backpackers from all over have come to examine the scene and have ended up staying for indefinite periods.
